Yes! We offer in-person and virtual consultations to discuss your needs, preferences, and budget before creating a custom design plan.
What materials do you use for your cabinets?
We use high-quality materials, including solid wood, plywood, MDF, and premium hardware. We also offer a variety of finishes, from painted to stained wood.
Can you match existing cabinetry or finishes?
Yes, we can match the style, colour, and finish of your existing cabinets to ensure a seamless look in your home.
How does the FAQ section work?
Its simple really. You just add the questions as blocks and then you edit the question and answer.
Drawer Insert Designer
How does the design software work?
Drawer Insert Designer is intended to be completely intuitive, allowing you to create and customize a premium-quality insert with only a few clicks. You can see an in-depth walkthrough of what that involves here
How long will it take to get a custom wooden insert?
- The design and ordering process should take about fifteen minutes or so. From there, it'll take two weeks from the order date for us to ship the product out. Shipping usually takes one to five days in Canada and three to ten days in the United States.
- International shipping takes two weeks, on average.
Do you handle all manufacturing?
Yes we do. Everything is manufactured and finished in house with the exception of the maple and walnut posts for the pegboard organization system.
CUSTOM WOODEN DOORS
Can you design a screen door to match our entry door?
Yes, we will often move a bar or rail to make a better pairing. We can also custom design a door if we have a picture and dimensions of the entry door.
Our door frame is an odd size, can you make us a door to fit it?
Yes, the majority of the screen doors we make are custom-built to our customers’ exact size requirements.
Can you ship our door?
Yes, we use a smaller courier who will deliver directly from our door to your door anywhere in the Peterborough to Cobourg to Oakville triangle. Rates vary with distance but usually fall in the $55.00 to $100 range. For cottage country, contact us to discuss.
READY TO PAINT CABINET DOORS
How should I finish the doors?
Our doors are ready to be finished with a paint or stain of your choice. If painting, we recommend using two coats of primer and one coat of colour. Talk to your local paint shop for advice on cabinet paint.
What type of MDF do you use?
We use Plum Creek MDF, which is a premium super-refined MDF that mills and finishes better than most MDFs on the market.
How should I measure my doors?
Using a tape measure, measure the width and the height of the door. It is a good idea to create a quick sketch of the kitchen and number each door/drawer front, then work through each one and write down the measurements.
